Iván Ballesteros
The iB Putter Sweet Spot has been designed by Ivan Ballesteros, a PGA golfer and golf instructor, complying with the standards and rules of golf set by the highest international governing body.
Ivan Ballesteros worked closely with Seve Ballesteros during the final 15 years of the golf legend’s life, serving as Seve’s representative for the last decade and simultaneously managing various businesses and projects within the Ballesteros group. Ivan played a pivotal role in establishing the Seve Ballesteros Foundation, where he served as a founding patron and executive vice president from its inception in 2009 until his decision to step down in 2013. Following this, he traveled to Hong Kong to work for a sports marketing company. There, he spearheaded numerous initiatives, including managing the Royal Trophy, acting as a golf consultant for the world’s largest golf club, Mission Hills, and overseeing Ronaldo’s football schools in the city.
Throughout his career, Ivan has been deeply involved in multiple tasks and projects within the golf industry. In addition to managing Seve’s affairs, he caddied for him at the Masters on two occasions, collaborated on golf course designs, and managed international golf tournaments.
In 2006, Ivan collaborated with Seve and MD Golf on designing golf equipment under the Seve brand. It was during the years 2006 to 2008 that Ivan gained extensive knowledge from Seve and MD Golf in the realm of golf club design.
A professional golfer and golf instructor since 2000, Ivan is a member of the PGA of Spain. Now, he introduces a new putter – distinct, unique, and designed to contribute to enhancing results on the green.
